Models Own Hedonist

So I got round to wearing this and its such a lovely colour. Hedonist is such a neon colour and I'm not quite sure if I can say what colour it is. It varies in different lights. I'd go for a pinky orange though. Instead of red nails if I want to make a statement this will be the polish of choice. Its the perfect summer colour to own and I'm sure I'll wear this loads. This seems to me like the favourite from the Hed Kandi collection and I can see why. Its such an unusual colour and lovely shade.

Fluorescent Adolescent

After trying to resist owning/buying the entire Hed Kandi collection from Models Own I've pretty much caved and just have one left to get, Disco Heaven. This has to be the brightest, most neon shade I have ever worn. Its pretty much a fluorescent orange. I applied it at night, and although my laptop was making it glow I didn't realise until daylight this morning how extremely bright it is. It is certainly attention grabbing: I received so many comments today about my nails. I always seem to get men commenting on my nails too not just women. This is very much a statement colour, perfect for a night out or the beach.

Oddly I think this makes me looked tanned. I'm pretty pale and some colours like this look awful on my nails but this suits me I think. Its quite a cool toned orange which is probably why. I can't wait to try Hedonist as it always looks so nice on other people, so fingers crossed!

Balearic Girl

I was very excited to see the collaboration between Hed Kandi and Models Own and as I could buy them in my local Boots I haven't got the whole collection yet. It won't be long haha. I love Balearic Cool, I love bright blues and this is almost a neon blue. Today was my first day of wear and I got so many compliments on the colour and how pretty it is. One lady thought it must be an expensive brand or even a professional one!

Having an absolute nightmare getting pictures at the moment as after work its dusk and the flash is washing everything out. These were the best I could get. Here's hoping it gets darker later so this problem goes away!

Models Own Soda Pop Pink

I knew this was pretty colour in the bottle but on my nails, its the most perfect pink. Its in between being too bright and too pale, a gorgeous bubblegum pink. I love the colour so much I left them bare. I can't wait to try out Peaches & Cream which is from the same collection. As always I'm loving Models Own and can't believe its only £5 a bottle!

I need to would like to pop into Boots tomorrow and continue to make the most of their 3 for 2 offer. I really want two more of the Models Own Hed Kandi collection (Balearic Cool and Disco Heaven) and a Soap and Glory Supercat eyeliner. I'm finally taking the plunge and entering the world of "eyebrows" I've avoided it, mainly as I felt I'd make a wally of myself and my friends said my eyebrows are fine as they are, but when I want something it rarely goes away, and I want defined, or at least more, brows. My only problem is my eyebrows are almost black and most products are for brown brows. I've looked at the Rimmel eyebrow pencil before but they only had brown shades, but I've found through reviews online they do a brown/black shade so I'll be on the hunt for that. So excited for tomorrow, no alarm, meeting my boy for lunch and chinese buffet for tea. Haven't eaten very healthily this week so if the rain stays away I'm lusting for a salad from M&S, they are heaven.

New: Models Own Beetlejuice

I first tried Indian Ocean. Its such a pretty blue with pink undertones. Its very sheer and even with three coats isn't as solid as I like. Next time I'm going to try white, blue or green underneath to see if it makes the polish stand out more. 

 I then gave Tropical Sun a whirl. I only used it as I got home late and didn't have time to do anything exciting and I couldn't go to work the next day with naked nails! I actually like this on my nails a lot more than I thought. The bottle doesn't really show how beautiful this colour is. I've loved wearing such a girlie colour again after such a long winter of dark/glitter and crackle nails. Its the prettiest pink with orange tones and I may even like this more than Indian Ocean, which I never even thought would be possible.

My local Boots haven't had much exciting on their Models Own stand for a while so imagine my surprise and delight to see they now stock several of the new collections and all of the nail art pen colours. Plus 3 for 2 I just had to spend.

There's been a lot of hype on Twitter about the Hed Kandi colours so I'm going back to look. I just quickly picked these.
