Sunday Summary #24

Had such a lovely week, enjoying my boy now he is home from holiday. Couldn't wait to get him round and just be in his company. He was an absolute babe and got me the cutest presents. He really does know me so well! A wooden anchor with a timer inside, a wooden seaside chest, postcard (incase his didn't turn up which it hasn't yet...) and a keyring with an E on. It meant so much more he'd really thought about what I would like. In the end I didn't give him a MAC duty free list as I didn't want him to go out of his way and I knew if he didn't get anything he'd be upset. We're going shopping together to somewhere with a MAC counter soon though. The absolute babe he is, went into MAC anyway but couldn't choose a lipstick as "they all looked nice and like what you already have" and they didn't sell nail polish as he'd know a colour I don't already have. Bless his cottons. Had a Chinese out with work this week which was very nice, finding it harder to eat with the heat though. The humidity this week has been unbearable, hate it. Glad its gone its just hot and windy now which is frustrating as you need something for the wind but the pockets where the wind can't go you're boiling.
Just had an amazing weekend with my boy. We've been together six months now and I am so insanely happy with him. It's just such an easy relationship, we get along so well and I love every second I'm with him. We saw The Five Year Engagement yesterday, I love Emily Blunt and she's so good in it! A funny film but some tender moments too. Went for Storage 24 today, I'm a massive fan of Noel Clarke and British films...so I wanted to see this as soon as I heard about it even if I don't like scary ones. Very jumpy, some gory bits and an horrific alien/monster. Just been perusing new films coming out and seen an alien type one set in the Underground of London. I'm pretty obsessed with the tubes (?!) and my boy might want to see it. We watched Batman Begins last night as I need to know the story ready for The Dark Knight Rises in a few weeks. Literally totally get the whole love for these comic book characters. Such an epic film and I think Batman is so cool with his cape, bat ears and the Bat Mobile! I so wanted to watch the Dark Knight next but it was at my boys house so will wait til this weekend. Usually watch movies on a Saturday night as we have more time and not got to be up early for work. Plus I'm usually so tired during week day evenings (old lady alert!) I hate trying to concentrate on films when I'm tired. Also my boys excitement for the Amazing Spiderman is rubbing off on me well, the trailer looks great and I'm really getting into these sorts of films after Avengers Assemble, I've been missing out!!
An extremely quiet week shopping wise! Got a few Accessorize sale bits which I'm posting separately as I always seem to every time the sale comes around!
Cool treat after work. My boy brought white oreos home <3<3<3. Ronnie love. Presents from my boy. Really white clouds. Vanilla coke! Sunday morning skies!
This week has definitely been about down time and chilling. My hayfever has been bad and it makes me hate going outside. Got a week off work in a fortnight which I'm really looking forward to, going to work in sunshine sucks. Then my seaside weekend with my boy in August is creeping ever closer, seriously can't wait. And the weekend after is bank holiday, love a four day week far too much.
Hope you've all had good weeks :)

Hello Sunshine

I was very excited to have today off work. The weather has been absolutely beautiful. Its so very hot in the sun but there was a little breeze to help. I met my boy from work as he has done a half day to go back to his uni to see his friends and go to Twickenham on Sunday for the England v Barbarians game. I took his work stuff and filled his belly with lunch. He made my day telling me I looked beautiful, I felt hot and windswept haha. Loved wearing a summer dress finally. Like the mushy romantic I am, I left him a little lovenote in his bag saying I hoped he had a great time and I was cooking for him Monday night. I loved his text once he'd read it on the train. There's a bridge near our train station and after I'd left him I was walking back across it. The wind was blowing my dress up and a bus driver beeped me. A bus driver! I posted an outraged status on facebook at how inappropriate it was. Imagine all the passengers looking to see what he was beeping at! Had to be me! I popped into a few shops on my way home. The Birthdays in my town is closing and they are the only place to get party bits. I also treated myself to some Me To You bits I've had my eye on.
I can't resist anything with a union jack on, and I love having photos around me. The photo album is so cute but doesn't hold many photos.
I got some trash to keep me occupied on Sunday and my beloved Company. I LOVE their makeover and I was thinking today I've been buying the magazine for eight years now! They are the perfect mix of what I love to read: fashion, beauty, music, issues that affect me and a little celebrity. For £2 a month too its a bargain!
I had a 20% off voucher for New Look and I love using them. I tried in vain to find a dress; summer, evening or maxi but couldn't. I found a beautiful lemon print maxi but it had frills...
I've been looking for an owl pendant like this forever. I loved the colours on him and had to get the earrings too although I won't wear them at the same time, too matchy matchy for my liking. I haven't found any shoes in New Look for ages either :(
I then popped through Boots to get a drink and found myself with these in my hand. I love the Soap & Glory Supercat liner and mine has started to dry out so I needed to get a new one. Theres an offer on Models Own if you buy two cosmetics you get a nail art pen free. The sunny weather saw me finally give in and purchase Hedonist and Beach Party. I almost left the free pen but I don't have blue. I don't know how I'll use it yet, I wouldn't think it could work with many other polishes unlike black and white. I then got a Collection 2000 clear mascara to keep my brows tidy.
I've also got a New Look order on its way which I'm excited for. I got a blue shoe string hoody from Primark but the boy loved it and has "borrowed" it permanently. I looked on New Look and found one with ears! They had 20% off online on Wednesday only so it was rude not to ;)

Sunday Summary #6

Been on holiday from work since Tuesday which has been amazing. Had such lovely spring weather, been very lucky for February as its usually a very rainy month. Wednesday we doubled dated with my brother and his girlfriend. We went to see Chronicle which I really enjoyed. I wasn't too sure if it would be my sort of film but I really liked the storyline and the actors were cast well for the characters. It had a slightly random ending but also fitted. We went to Frankie and Bennys for tea and ended up getting a main course and all our desserts free! Then we went to see The Woman In Black. Unfortunately it was a packed screen with lots of kids (due to the 12A rating) which meant every scary moment or even slightly scary moment was ruined with lots of screaming followed by endless laughing. As scared as the film made me I loved it. Daniel Radcliffe is such a babe and it was very odd seeing him play a father. Its definitely a must-see and if I can sit through it all when I hate scary stuff then anyone can! We walked home because the buses are irregular in the evening and it was pretty eerie walking through a park cut through. Thursday I got the boy geocaching with me although we failed to find the two we set off for but we ended up with a nice country walk and cakes and magnums on the way home. Friday we had another chilled day with a pub lunch and another box of Magnums. I also suffered the trauma of a cut foot with an overly dramatic bandage due to no plasters in the house! Its still sore today but healing well.  Spent yesterday in London with my boy which was amazing. We managed to fit so much into the day but will blog about it separately as I got some bits shopping.

Ridiculous spring outfit for geocaching. Country field view. Horizon. Pretty church. Three tops with that collar I can't get enough of. Topshop heart ring and Primark Kate engagement ring dupe. Butterfly blouse. Dixie on my rolled back duvet. Pub lunch. Cut foot.

Got another box of Magnums after lunch today. Three in the past four days, the local shop must be so confused haha. Off to bed soon I'm still so tired from London and back to work tomorrow, wah.

Hope you've all had good weeks
