It's felt like a long week this week, probably because I had Wednesday off work to go to London. Traffic was awful on the way in so we didn't get as much shopping time as I wanted. Plus it was really unpredictable weather, with torrential rain every so often. I went to see Les Miserables...amazing! I didn't know what to expect as I've purposely avoided knowing anything. The story really sucked me in. I love the way musicals make you feel, a similar feeling to live music I think. I got so absorbed and got goosebumps during parts of the singing. Amazed at the children they had too, so talented so young. Still raining so much, never known weather like it! Bought the cutest umbrella from Primark, another dome one with Union Jack hearts on. Will get a photo of it when I'm not being blown and battered with rain. A quiet week spending wise. Only bought a panda ring in Chinatown and a few bits in Primark.
Les Miserables. Inside the theatre. Olympic countdown. ParaOlympic countdown. Golden boy on a rocking horse. New shorts. Dolly shoes x2 and pumps. Going out bag. Panda ring. Engagement rings (I have lost my sapphire one). Kinder egg! Coral bodycon and Barbie tee. Jolie Petite pot. Messy hair station. Tidy hair station. My boys cat on his new xbox. Sleeping poser cat. My first ever Dominoes!!!
Love the Jolie Petite pot, get to upgrade my phone next week and once I know the exact phone I have I'm ordering a decoden case. My boy is still helping me overcome a lot of my food problems and I actually loved Dominoes! The waffles were so good, nom. We went to see Avengers Assemble this afternoon, brilliant film. I haven't really watched the others and I'm not that much of a film person but I really enjoyed it. Wishing tomorrow wasn't Monday and back to work. Got a social week ahead with birthdays, meals out and a leaving meal (one friend is off to London for a serious operation and the other off to America for a month). Very much looking forward to a week off at the end of May, time needs to hurry up!
Hope you've all had good weeks.

Sunday Summary #14
Felt so tired this week, not sure why but hoping it goes soon. Been an exciting week as feels like plans for the year are coming together. Booked a long weekend away with my boy and I'm now hoping August gets here soon! Got lots before then to enjoy though so I shouldn't wish my time away. Very shocked May is just around the corner, time is literally racing past. Off to London on Wednesday for shopping and Les Miserables. I'm so excited, wanted to see it for ages and can't believe its finally here, feels like ages ago we booked it! Beyond excited for a week off work at the end of May, counting down the days. The boy has got it off too so will be amazing to spend my days with him. I have acquired quite a lot of clothing this week, but from my Mother! She has been finding all sorts of goodies for me, I'd seen the Primark tops but was trying to be good and not buy them, haha. The swallow cardigans I've had my eye on for ages and they went half price.
Scrapbook/stationery bits. Summer dress. Primark goodies Mum got me. George bits Mum got me. Dorothy Perkins purchases, new chain bag to replace > Primark chain bag. DP elephant necklace. DP Peace ring. New Look jewellery. Just one of many downpours this week. Subway in a basket! Huge sandwich! Chase and Status Live DVD <3. Sunday night tea of so juicy chicken, rice and roasted veg.
Longing for a Paperchase visit but I love stationery I always want everything! Really want these for my picnic bag ready for summer. The scrapbook is a project I'm planning but I can't say yet. I love finding stickers and ribbons and glitter for this type of thing. The past week has been constant thunder storms and torrential rain, I have actually quite enjoyed it! Hoping to get a storm during the night now, as I love how different it feels in the dark and being able to see the lightning so clearly. Still think the shops are in the horrible season transition stage where I can never find anything! I have tried believe me, I had a 20% off at New Look and was determined to find something, anything! I didn't even find any shoes which is very unusual as New Look is my favourite place for footwear. Found some lovely pieces for my jewellery collection, I actually bought the DP stuff last week but left it at my boyfriends house. I've included a picture of my most loved bag in the whole entire world. I've had that chain bag since about 2006, and I absolutely adore it. Its the perfect size for everything: lunch, shopping, gigs, clubbing, meals out, pub, etc. This bag has been so many places and although its showing signs of much wear, it doesn't bother me just makes me sad. The DP bag's chain can change to be long like the Primark one or double up to sit more under your arm. I still covet a Chanel chain bag but until that day, these will do! Went to Subway with the boy and got given it in a basket, never had that before, probably to cut packaging as even when we eat in they still wrap it up for take out.
Had an appropriately lazy Sunday, made the boys scrambled eggs and toast and arranged it prettily haha. He won a long battle and we put the Change Up dvd on, although I was on SimCity 4 as I don't really like those sorts of films. It did make me giggle in parts though!
Hope you've all had good weeks. Pretty proud of myself and still managed to resist a Revlon Lip Butter purchase, although yesterday I had one in the palm of my hand...
It won't be long.

Frame That Face
Eyebrow products have stormed the market of late and it seems every man and his dog has been "doing their brows/framing their face".
This was always a beauty area I really wanted to do/get but when I played around always felt silly, like a little girl who had raided her Mum's make up and got it terribly wrong. My natural hair colour is extremely dark, almost black but since I started dyeing it red over a year ago its completely changed to a more reddy/gingery colour. My eyebrows however have stayed the same very dark colour. When I looked at products available they all seemed to be brown or fair, and I knew a brown product would look ridiculous with my black eyebrows showing through. My friends told me I didn't need to do my eyebrows as they were fine, but when I want to do something I just can't ignore it.
I started researching more last week and somehow came across a review which said the Rimmel Eye Brow Pencil did come in a Black/Brown shade but was pretty hard to find. I searched Boots online and they didn't stock it, but Superdrug had it on their website. During my mass 3 for 2 purchasing last Friday Boots didn't have the pencil colour but a quick stop in Superdrug and I found it.
Now for £2.99 this is an amazing product, the pencil is really soft and if you go wrong it's easily smudged away, and it stays all day. For now I've found the perfect product for me and I'm loving the results. To the point regular mirror self checking out is happening, ha!
I love experimenting (if too scared at first) and I guess the whole make up thing is experimental.
What do you use on your eyebrows?

my before brows
without flash/with flash
my after brows
I am still scared to do my brows really bold so only lightly dash across my brows and focus more on the inside parts. Although it doesn't make an outstanding difference it makes them look more solid as because my brows are so dark against my skin they have gaps. I'd probably like to grow my brows thicker from the middle outwards but I plucked them so much as a teen they never grow now! I've read about growth serums and products so that may be my next adventure!I love experimenting (if too scared at first) and I guess the whole make up thing is experimental.

Balearic Girl
I was very excited to see the collaboration between Hed Kandi and Models Own and as I could buy them in my local Boots I haven't got the whole collection yet. It won't be long haha. I love Balearic Cool, I love bright blues and this is almost a neon blue. Today was my first day of wear and I got so many compliments on the colour and how pretty it is. One lady thought it must be an expensive brand or even a professional one!
Having an absolute nightmare getting pictures at the moment as after work its dusk and the flash is washing everything out. These were the best I could get. Here's hoping it gets darker later so this problem goes away!
What are your favourite Hed Kandi colours?

Sunday Summary #13
Loved having a four day week but haven't really felt the benefit of an extra day off. However spending the Monday with my boyfriend was brilliant, more bank holidays please! My hayfever has been really difficult again this week, the boyfriend made me dig my reliever out at midnight on Sunday only to discover it didn't work. Much investigation pursued and it was just the batteries, would not have been impressed to fork out another £40. Also been dying of frustration as I always get bitten and have acquired quite a few massive ones this week. Several of them have been on my hips and back where my trousers sit so the constant rub has made them so much more itchier, the ones on my legs have scabbed really bad but I have no recollection of scratching them so bad as I try to avoid it. The first few bites that appeared were small ones but the ones that came up on Friday were the size of pennies, I made a trip to Boots to stock up on odd bits and make the most of the 3 for 2. I bought a bottle of Calamine lotion in desperation to soothe the itching. Its worked like a dream and I had my boyfriend applying numerous amounts last night for me :)
Had a right giggle last night as we got woken up about 1am because a kebab order turned up at his house, but we hadn't ordered it. His dad had a right battle with the girl to go away. Once she'd gone couldn't stop laughing, watching my boy hop around the room squinting against the light trying to get some clothes on and work out what was going on was hilarious. Had such a lazy Sunday, he brought me breakfast in bed and then we snuggled in watching tv. Wishing tomorrow wasn't Monday, so much.
Amazingly I haven't bought very much this week. I haven't pictured all of the make-up I got in the Boots 3 for 2 mainly because its the usual necessaries; eyeliner, powder, nail polish. I found a Rimmel eyebrow pencil in Superdrug and am loving it, so will blog about it separately.
M&S biscuit tin! Primark moustache top & hoodie. Boots bits. George apple top and purple skinny jeans. Space raiders!!! My breakfast from my boy <3 Angry sky. Torrential rain. Rainbow. Chip shop chips. Another stone baked pizza. Ronnie asleep. Calamine lotion.
So excited to try the TRESemme products, I like that they've become mainstream as they only used to be available in salons. I've been after some purple skinny jeans for absolutely ages, so was so excited to get these. I always get the next size up in jeans, as I find them quite uncomfortable. So looking forward to the summer and dresses, skirts and shorts. I really don't know where this year is going, its mid April already!!
Hope you've had a good week too.
